Its newest innovation, a limited-edition whisky in partnership with Moonchild Sanelly, is no different. Famed for her self-invented music genre coined Future ghetto punk, Moonchild is fresh, effervescent, and the epitome of a unicorn. Working alongside the Scottish Leader blending team, Moonchild’s ability to see the world differently inspired the team to create a whisky ideally suited to the South African palate. The Sherry cask expression tells the love story of soft spice, ripe fruity notes, and seductive sweetness.

Scottish Leader and Moonchild have partnered before to broaden people’s perspectives. In 2021 Moonchild hosted the Madness Method, which aired on BET Africa. The show zoomed in on the lives of South Africa’s most prolific artists and entertainers. The entire series is available on YouTube:
