B-BOY BENNY OFF TO VIE FOR THE GLOBAL  BREAKDANCING CROWN IN MAGNIFICENT MUMBAI

Cape Town’s B-Boy Benny is headed to Mumbai, India, on the 9th of November 2019, to represent South Africa at the Red Bull BC One World Finals; the biggest one-on-one breakdancing competition in the world. This comes after B-Boy Benny scooped the Red Bull BC One Final South Africa 2019, beating 15 other great b-boys from East London, Cape Town, Durban, Johannesburg and Port Elizabeth.

“I prevailed at the South African finals, even though the stakes were very high considering the fact that I had taken a break. It was an honour to return to the competition and land with a win which meant so much to me. ” commented B-Boy Benny.

On preparing for this crown, B-Boy Benny says that to become a master of the craft of breakdancing, one has to train relentlessly adding that, just like all physical disciplines, breakdancing has a handful of basic elements that make up the dance form, and which all breakers learn to exercise in a battle.

The Red Bull BC One World Finals will be graced by the world’s exceptional breakdancers who will vie to be crowned the Red Bull BC One global champion. Last year’s champion was Lil Zoo from Austria whom B-Boy Benny has competed with in the past.
